 Course Description
Course Description: All writers benefit from sharing and discussing their work with knowledgeable, interested readers. This course provides such an opportunity, pairing each student writer with a peer tutor from the Writing Center for weekly one-on-one writing sessions. With the peer tutor’s support, the student writer works on planning, drafting, revising, and editing papers assigned for other classes. Some students bring creative writing. Some use the sessions as check-ins during long research projects, bringing notes, insights, outlines, questions, and drafts.

Grammar Workshop Option--Thursdays, 4-5 pm: This
spring, we have an additional option. You may either do the one-to-one
sessions as described above, or you may instead participate in a weekly
series of interactive grammar workshops led by two crew members, Taylore
Huntley and Forrest White. The workshops will cover key grammatical
concepts and will help you connect new learning about grammar with
improving your own writing at the sentence-level. There is no
prerequisite knowledge of grammar necessary to participate in these
workshops, just curiosity.
